We calculated the final CY 2026 ASC conversion factor by adjusting the CY 2025 ASC conversion factor ($54.895) by 1.0000 to account for changes in the pre-floor and pre-reclassified hospital wage indexes between CY 2025 and CY 2026, which includes our policy to limit wage index declines of greater than 5 percent, and by applying the CY 2026 hospital market basket update factor of 2.6 percent (which is equal to the final inpatient hospital market basket percentage increase of 3.3 percent reduced by a productivity adjustment of 0.7 percentage point)
