In aged skeletal muscle models, NNMT inhibitor treatment increased proliferating/active muscle stem cells by 60-75% following injury, myofiber cross-sectional area increased 1.8-fold at one week post-injury with high-dose treatment, and peak torque of injured muscle increased by 67% compared to control (p = 0.033), with no untoward systemic toxicity observed in plasma chemistry markers (Neelakantan et al., 2019)
When you swallow a B12 pill, several steps have to work for it to be absorbed: stomach acid and the enzyme pepsin must release B12 from food or the supplement, the stomach must secrete a protein called intrinsic factor that binds to B12, and the B12-intrinsic factor complex must reach the ileum (the end of the small intestine) where it is finally absorbed
Saline (salt water) is a separate product, and "bacteriostatic saline" is a different item again
